With the Season 3 premiere of iZombie still far off, not much is known about the upcoming season. Last month, during San Diego Comic-Con, the cast and showrunner revealed to TV Line some details, such as the first episode picks up minutes after where the Season 2 finale left off, procedural elements are being shed, Liv is getting a love interest who will not die, Liv consumes the brain of a dominatrix, Clive and Liv will have a more open and honest relationship, and there will be a zombie revolution.

Thanks to the latest edition of EW's Spoiler Room, we have a new morsel to chew on:

I know it's early, but what's coming up on iZombie? — Janie

Here's a little tease about season 3 to whet your appetite: "Ravi will stumble upon a recipe to make zombie visions more vivid and longer lasting," EP Rob Thomas says.

As you know by now, when Liv feeds on the brains of murder victims, her zombie powers manifest themselves; She takes on the personality of the dead and has visions of their final moments, and that allows her, with help from Clive, to solve their murders. So, if Ravi has figured out a way to extend those visions, it could mean Liv will also have the personality traits of her victims for multiple episodes.

iZombie is based upon characters created by Chris Roberson and Michael Allred for Vertigo from DC Entertainment. The series was developed for television by Thomas and Ruggiero-Wright, who executive produce along with Danielle Stokdyk (Veronica Mars, Party Down) and Dan Etheridge (Veronica Mars, Party Down). iZombie is produced by Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Spondoolie Productions and Warner Bros. Television.

The show stars Rose McIver (Once Upon a Time, Masters of Sex) as Liv Moore, Malcolm Goodwin (Breakout Kings) as Detective Clive Babinaux, Rahul Kohli (Eastenders) as Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti, Robert Buckley (One Tree Hill) as Major Lilywhite, and David Anders (Once Upon a Time, The Vampire Diaries) as Blaine "DeBeers" McDonough.

The 13-episode third season of iZombie is currently slated for midseason premiere.
