The clip takes place in the Sirens nightclub and begins with Butch talking to Tabitch, voicing his concern about the possible Penguin, Fish Mooney partnership. Tabitha figures he is suggesting they leave the city, but Butch would rather stick around and help Fish take out Barbara and Nygma for them. And although teh nightclub owners aren’t on the best of terms at the moment, Tabitha isn’t ready to betray Babs (again).
Their conversation comes to an abrupt end once they notice Lee drinking at the bar. Stunned to see the typically bluenosed doctor in their establishment, Butch approaches Lee and asks why she’s there. She tells him she’s having a bit of fun while her “ex sees the light” — referring to Jim succumbing to the Alice Tetch virus — and asks to know Babs’s whereabouts.
When Butch asks what for, she insults him, knocking him down a peg or to as she calls him an “errand boy” and a “shoeshine boy.” And when he makes the mistake of putting his mitts on her, he sees that she is infected with the Alice Tetch virus, and she smashes her glass on the side of his head and shoves him to the ground with her super-strength.
DESTINY AWAITS – With the deadly virus spreading throughout the city, the search for the antidote continues, as Fish Mooney (guest star Jada Pinkett Smith), The Riddler and Penguin reveal plans of their own. Bruce meets Ra’s Al Ghul (guest star Alexander Siddig) and completes his last task in order to fulfill his destiny, but realizes he can’t let go of his past. Meanwhile, Gordon tries to win back Lee, and past alliances within Gotham City are broken, while new alliances are formed.
