The CW has released a clip from 'Zari', the upcoming third episode of Legends of Tomorrow's third season.

The scene sees the Legends attempting to rescue a hacker named Zari Tomaz (Tala Ashe). However, their damsel in distress turns out to be more capable of taking care of herself than the Legends are of protecting themselves when ARGUS shows up to the party.

It turns out that in the year 2021, metahumans have been outlawed via the Anti Metahuman Act and when an ARGUS drone shows up it quickly identifies Sara (Caity Lotz,) Ray (Brandon Routh,) Mick (Dominic Purcell,) and Nate (Nick Zano) as not only metahumans, but metahumans who have been listed as missing and are therefore under arrest.

But what about the woman they came to save? Zari has things well in hand. Using a handheld device, she is able to prevent the drone from identifying her, allowing her to escape while, despite Ray's destruction of the drone, the Legends find themselves under arrest.

Zari's appearance on the show has been hinted at since March when showrunner Marc Guggenheim said that the Legends' new team member wouldn't be original to the series, but wouldn't come from comics either. It was later revealed that while several characters fit the not original but not from comics description that it would, in fact, be Zari Tomaz, perhaps best known by her heroic name, Isis. Fans will just have to wait to see how Zari ends up on the team -- and if the Legends manage to get away from ARGUS unscathed -- for tonight's episode.

'Zari' will air tonight at 9/8c on The CW.
