With Aquaman slated to start filming in just over three months from now, the cast and crew surrounding Arthur Curry's first live action solo film are starting to materialize. Just yesterday we announced the film found its cinematographer and now, it seems as if a costume designer has joined the production.
Thanks to super sleuths on Reddit, a resume of sorts was unearthed for one Kym Barrett with Aquaman appearing as the most recent film she has worked on.
No stranger to pop culture movies, Barrett most recently designed the costumes for Jupiter Ascending. The Australian native's most recognized work, however, is that of which appeared in The Matrix trilogy and Sony's The Amazing Spider-Man. Her first film credit came with 1996's Romeo + Juliet.
Prior to her time designing costumes for film and TV, Barrett spent time designing costumes for various theatrical productions including Cirque du Soleil and The Tempest.
Aquaman is scheduled to hit theaters July 27, 2018.
