Michael Shannon, who played General Zod in Man of Steel will be on the popular Spike TV show, Lip Sync Battle. This is according to a tweet sent out by the official account the show. "Prepare yourselves. #MichaelShannon is coming to#LipSyncBattle."

No word yet what songs he might be lip syncing to or if he will take dance moves from Doomsday. Lip Sync Battle often has co-stars of films square off against each other, so one can hope we might see a Ben Affleck or Henry Cavill competition. Maybe one will sync to Tom Wait's 'Martha.'

While the show doesn't have any actual singing Shannon did previously (and surprisingly) sing in Elvis & Nixon which told the story around the famous photo of President Nixon and Elvis Presley. Michael Shannon played Elvis Presley and Kevin Spacey was President Nixon. Based on this TMZ clip, of Shannon singing Elvis' 'Blue Suede Shoes' though, Shannon does have some talent.

Lip Sync Battle started in 2015 with hosts LL Cool J and color commentator/DJ Chrissy Teigen. Previous episodes this season have had from The Loser's Zoe Saldana lip syncing 'No Scrubs' up against Star Trek's Zachary Quinto's 'Get Ur Freak On.' No episode has gotten more attention though than when 21 Jump Street star, Channing Tatum appeared with his wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum. Tatum, who has been cast as Gambit in an upcoming feature synced to 'Run The World (Girls).' He appeared in drag, with surprise guest star Beyonce.
