There's a new trailer for The Flash today, and while we usually have an eye for Easter eggs and DC Comics references, this time i looks like the good folks over at CinemaBlend beat us to it.
There's a really good look at a new villain in the trailer, and CB is convinced they know who it is -- so, y'know: likely spoilers for an episode of season 3b follow.
In his fleeting appearance, probably-Plunder uses a high-tech rifle and steals...something...out of a glass case.
Morillo had been named as a villain Team Flash would face in the mid-season premiere. Below, you can see a clip released earlier this month by The CW...but it doesn't look like he's going to be a major player in the episode, more a one-off villain to be used as a plot device to drive a wedge between Barry and Wally.
(You can see a bit of that scene below.)

While up to this point in season 3, The Flash has dealt with the fallout of "Flashpoint," an alternate timeline he created at the end o season 2, that's taking a backseat in the second half of the season to Barry's attempts to prevent the speed god Savitar from killing Iris West -- something he saw when he accidentally traveled to the future.
Supergirl airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT; The Flash on Tuesdays at the same time, followed by DC's Legends of Tomorrow at 9 p.m.; Arrow on Wednesdays at 8. New episodes return the last week in January.
