While the sneak-peek doesn’t pack much new footage, it does give fans a chronological look at how the film will progress. Wonder Woman’s new spot begins with Diana explaining her supernatural origins to Steve Trevor. When asked if she’s ever met a man before, the heroine says no. Diana even tells the newcomer she has no father since Zeus simply created her. As expected, Steve isn’t sure what to make of the comment.
As the sneak-peek continues, fans are shown more footage of Wonder Woman suiting up for war and dressing up to hit London’s dirty streets. Diana makes her dislike for the city clear as she sails into its port, and Steve agrees. The soldier says the town isn’t for everyone, and Wonder Woman is not swayed by its charms thanks to her exotic upbringing.
Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powersโฆand her true destiny.
Joining Gadot in the international cast are Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, David Thewlis, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya, Ewen Bremner and Saรฏd Taghmaoui. Patty Jenkins directs the film from a screenplay by Allan Heinberg and Geoff Johns, story by Zack Snyder and Allan Heinberg, based on characters from DC Entertainment. Wonder Woman was created by William Moulton Marston.
