Suicide Squad Trailer 3 High-Quality Still Shot Gallery

The third Suicide Squad trailer has dropped, and somehow, it may be even more exciting than the last. The trailer is heavy on the clear breakout star, Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn, but it also leans quite a bit on some of the other members of the team.

El Diablo, Captain Boomerang, Katana, and Deadshot all get strong feature moments in the trailer, with Deadshot using his wrist-mounted guns in all their glory, and Katana literally slicing someone’s head in half. Seriously. She cuts someone’s head in half. If you’re already clicking through the stills to make sure you didn’t miss that, no one blames you. Croc and Slipknot are… also there.

So just who are those “someones” that they’re cutting and shooting into oblivion? The high-quality still shots show that they’re some kind of soldiers, as they clearly have some body armor on. However, they’re also covered in some kind of black substance, with lumps all over it. It’s unlike anything we’ve seen in the pages of DC Comics, so no real guesses about this stuff just yet.

Suicide Squad is directed by David Ayer and hits theaters August 5, 2016.
