Sources are reporting that Teri Hatcher and Kevin Sorbo will appear in the show’s upcoming fifteenth episode, ‘Exodus‘. A lot remains unknown about who exactly the pair will be playing, althought Sorbo has confirmed that his and Hatcher’s characters are husband and wife.

Hatcher is a particularly welcome addition to the show, given her past contributions to the world of Superman-related content. One of the actress’ most popular roles is that of Lois Lane on the 90s ABC series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.

Given the fact that her Lois & Clark co-star Dean Cain is already an established part of Supergirl, playing the title character’s adopted father turned Cadmus prisoner, Jeremiah Danvers, many fans have felt it would be inevitable that Hatcher would make her way onto the show as well. While it’s unclear if Hatcher and Cain will share the screen in an upcoming episode, it’s certainly something that many fans are clamoring for.

Sorbo, on the other hand, is best known for appearing in another 90s series, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. While his casting has raised some eyebrows amongst Supergirl fans, given the actor’s outspoken political views, Sorbo has expressed his excitement at appearing on the show on multiple occasions.

Sorbo has also previously confirmed that his involvement on the show lasts for three episodes, although it’s unclear if the same is true for Hatcher. Many have speculated that the actress will be this season’s big bad, meaning that she could stay around on the show longer than her onscreen husband.

As we said, it’s still unclear who exactly the pair will be playing on the show. Sorbo did say that the husband and wife hail “from another planet that’s an arch-rival [destroyed] planet of Krypton.” This has led to speculation that the pair will hail from Daxam, particularly accompanying the notion that the show’s semi-resident Daxamite, Mon-El (Chris Wood), will “reveal his secrets” in the show’s very near future.

That being said, it’s not officially confirmed that Hatcher and Sorbo will be playing Daxamites. The show could possibly do a misdirect and really have the pair be completely different alien characters. While this leads to a myriad of possibilities, our own theory is that the pair could be Lar and Laurel Gand, members of the Legion of Superheroes.

With a lot of information about Hatcher and Sorbo’s characters still remaining a mystery, it should come as a pleasant surprise to Supergirl fans that they will hopefully start to receive answers soon.
