After facing off against evil speedsters, telepathic gorillas, and even the Speed Force itself, The Flash‘s fourth season will have Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) cross paths with a unique opponent – Danny Trejo.

Gustin recently shared a photo of him and Trejo – who is set to play DC Comics villain Breacher – on The Flash‘s set. Breacher has been described as “a feared bounty hunter”, who also happens to be the father of Season 3 fan-favorite Gypsy (Jessica Camacho). You can check out the photo below.
Judging by the cast chairs in the background, and Gustin appearing to be wearing part of his Flash costume, the photo was probably taken during the day’s filming. Unfortunately, it doesn’t provide a much of a look at what Breacher’s onscreen costume – which looks like an Iron Man-like suit of armor in the comics – will be.
Trejo’s casting was first announced during the show’s San Diego Comic-Con panel, and has been met with a warm response by fans ever since. Considering how much fun Trejo appears to be having on The Flash‘s set, here’s hoping that Breacher’s role extends beyond a villain of the week.
The Flash returns for its fourth season on the CW on Oct 10, 2017.
Running up against an evil time remnant version of yourself is something no one should ever have to do, but that’s exactly what faced Barry Allen (aka The Flash) as he fought to save the life of fiancรฉe Iris West from the God of Speed known as Savitar. Barry’s victory was short-lived, however, as an unbalanced Speed Force began to wreak havoc on Central City, forcing Barry to sacrifice himself for the greater good. With The Fastest Man Alive now trapped inside an extra-dimensional energy, and unknown dangers lurking in the shadows, it will be up to Team Flash to free Barry from his own personal Hell.
