The Rock is all over Hollywood these days, but the former WWE Superstar is now looking to pin down the entire DC Extended Universe.
Dwayne Johnson has been involved with DC for a while now, as he nailed down the role of villain Black Adam in the eventual Shazam! movie. The actor has teased excitement about the role before, but it looks like things over at DC are heating up in regards to the upcoming film.
Shazam! producer Hiram Garcia met with DC Comics executives yesterday, and he said big things were ahead. Today, it was The Rock's turn to chat with the big-wigs.
The actor posted a picture of himself on Instagram, with a caption explaining his DC meeting. not only did he say that Shazam! was moving in the right direction, but he teased that the entire DC Universe is trending up.
Johnson said in the post that he is also a huge fan of the DC properties, and that he loves the way they're rolling forward with their movies.
After this comment, it seems as though The Rock will have a large role in the DC Extended Universe going forward.
