It’s no secret that fans are excited for DC Entertainment’s upcoming line-up of films. Next year, the studio will team up with Warner Bros. to debut Justice League featuring Batman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman. But, before the film debuts, one of those heroes – or should I say heroines? – is getting their own solo film. Next June, Wonder Woman will premiere to a very eager audience of moviegoers, and now the studio is getting fans hyped for the film with some new video previews.
Alright, so the video previews aren’t for the film itself; Rather, they have to do with collectibles based on the movie. DC Entertainment uploaded a close-up video that gives fans a better look at two of its collector figurines of Wonder Woman.

The first statue features Wonder Woman in a picturesque stance alongside Steve Trevor, her human ally and love interest. The two stand ready for battle as Wonder Woman holds her shield and sword at the ready. Trevor is also armed with his handgun and padded boat, an outfit that clearly pales in comparison to Wonder Woman’s red-and-blue ensemble.
Another statue is also highlighted in the video. The figure is of Wonder Woman dressed in her Amazonian training gear. The lithe outfit is only made better by the fact that Wonder Woman is holding her golden lasso. And, to be honest, her calf-high sandals do a lot to make her look like a formidable Roman goddess.
These two statues were unveiled at New York Comic Con this year alongside another figurine of Wonder Woman riding a horse into battle. You can check out images of each figure in the photo gallery! “We still haven’t figured out the way to Paradise Island, but thanks to DC Collectibles, we’re getting the next best thingโa pair of highly detailed new statues based on the upcoming Wonder Woman movie starring Gal Gadot and Chris Pine! Look for them at your favorite comic shop or specialty retailer May, 2017!”
Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers and her true destiny.
Wonder Woman is directed by Patty Jenkins, and stars Gal Gadot (Diana Prince/Wonder Woman), Chris Pine (Steve Trevor), Robin Wright (General Antiope), Connie Nielsen (Queen Hippolyta), Lucy Davis (Etta Candy), Danny Huston, Elena Anaya, Said Taghmaoui, Ewen Bremner, Lisa Loven Kongsli, and David Thewlis.
Wonder Woman will hit theaters on June 2, 2017.
