One of the events being most looked forward to in Destiny 2 for October is the return of Iron Banner, which will no doubt stir up the PvP community for the game. But that said, Bungie hasn’t revealed too many details about what we can expect from the returning mode. But, thanks to a Destiny Reddit page, we may have discovered more about what we can expect.

There are mild spoilers ahead, so proceed with caution unless you already blew through the story of the game. You were warned.

Still here? Okay. First off, it appears that you’ll no longer deal with lady Efrideet. Instead, you’ll have to talk to Lord Saladin, who will serve as the vendor, and will also be at “the Iron Banner grounds underneath the Traveler.”

Enjoy The New Emblems

It also appears that players won’t be able to partake with weekly and daily bounties anymore, and will instead work off of a number of milestones and quests to be completed, which work similarly to the daily reputation milestones. These will require players to take on three challenges in the Iron Banner, which will result in some kind of Reputation Bundle reward โ€“ probably given out as a token, which can later be redeemed to acquire Iron Banner engrams.

Thus far, two emblems have been revealed for the Iron Banner, including the Shades of Radegast and the Felwinter Frost, which you can see with the attached pictures. They look pretty cool, and should be worth earning for those of you that want to jump back in the Banner.

What Else Is Coming?

That’s really about it for now in terms of details, but it appears that the Iron Banner is shaping up to be a stellar event for Destiny 2. And that’s not all, as the prestige mode of the Leviathan raid, which came earlier this month, will debut sometime next month as well.

It appears Activision and Bungie may be ramping up these activities to hype the PC launch of the game, which is coming in just a few short weeks. Of course, console owners can partake in them as well, so don’t worry โ€“ you won’t be left out.

Destiny 2 is available now on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and will release on October 24th on PC.
