Hytale has been out for less than two weeks, and itโs already being modded up the wazoo. This makes sense, seeing as Hytale was made by modders for modders, so there are tons of people actively working to improve and enhance their gaming experience. In a considerably short period of time, modders have not only developed mods, but theyโve also released them, giving others a chance to check out their creations. We looked through a bunch of available mods and, having put several dozen hours into the games ourselves, we have three Hytale mods that make the game even more fun, arranged in no particular order.

1) Macawโs Mods

If youโre experienced playing modded Minecraft, you likely already know of Sketch Macaw. Instead of one mod, Macaw created several, bringing multiple decoration and style enhancements to Hytale. These include Macawโs Windows, Fences and Walls, Stairs, Lights and Lamps, Holidays, Trapdoors, Doors, Furniture, Bridges, Roofs, Paths and Pavings, Hy Stairs, Hy Carpets, Paintings, Hy Doors, Hy Paintings, Hy Lights and Lamps, Useful Sticks, Hy Furniture, Hy Paths, Cycle Paintings, Hy Windows, Mods for TFC, Furniture for TFC, and of course, Not Enough Poops. Instead of one mod, you get a whole bunch, which are available on CurseForge.
2) Simply Trash

On launch, Hytale was touted as being incomplete, and you can see that during any playthrough. Still, itโs a well-made game with lots of functions, tools, weapons, mobs, and more right out of the gate, but one thing that was missing didnโt take long to be modded. Thereโs no native trash system in your inventory, so Jaredlll08 put together the Simply Trash mod, which does exactly what you think: it adds a trash can system you can craft to get rid of your crap. This makes inventory management much easier, so you no longer have to stand on a precipice to chuck your unwanted items into the void. Simply Trash is available on CurseForge.
3) Item Magnet

When youโre playing Hytale, youโll accumulate drops from mods, trees, blocks, and more, but you have to pick them up. This isnโt usually a problem, but it can be frustrating if you dispatch a mob over water or are in a dangerous situation. Item Magnet solves this by zipping any drops directly to you, which makes resource-gathering missions far easier. Jaredlll08 created this mod, which requires the player to craft a magnet at a Workbench. You can alter the config file to change the distance and speed at which items are pulled towards the player, so itโs up to you how you want to use it. Item Magnet is available on CurseForge.
