Assassin's Creed Origins on Xbox One X Will Be the "Most Beautiful Version"

Much to the excitement of Xbox fans, the director for Assassin's Creed Origins voiced his excitement for how impressive the Xbox One X version of the game will be compared to other versions.

The Assassin's Creed games have a history of providing players with lush, expansive settings to jump, climb, and sneak their way through, and Origins seems to be no exception. Taking the series to a brand new location with the game set in ancient Egypt, the next installment in the games looks to be even more breathtaking than the last few, especially if you're going to be playing it on the powerful Xbox One X.

Speaking to We Write Things, Assassin's Creed Origins director Ashraf Ismail discussed the potential that the Xbox One X granted the team when working on the game. Ismail credited his team for their hard work and went on to say that the hardware they worked with allowed them to do so much more with the game.

"It has been a pleasure working on Scorpio," Ismail told We Write Things. "It has been quite easy to have our game running at a really high fidelity very quickly. With Xbox One X, the game is beautiful. Kudos to our artists, engineers and technical directors, the game looks absolutely stunning. I think with Xbox One X, its the most beautiful version we have because it's rendering at a high resolution. We have more RAM to play with. There's a lot more tools at our disposal to showcase our creative work."

While the Xbox One X definitely boasts some impressive power to make the most of the Assassin's Creed experience, Xbox doubters might have their own opinions about how the game will look on the Xbox One X compared to the PlayStation 4 Pro. But Ismail continued his praise for the enhanced Xbox by saying that the Xbox One X version is definitely the best one.

"The experience of the game is the same across all of the different platforms," Ismail said. "We try to make sure the game shines on every platform the best it can. Having said that, the Xbox One X version is absolutely the most beautiful version."

Assassin's Creed Origins will release on Oct. 27 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
