There’s a lot worth getting excited for with Koei Tecmo’s Attack On Titan 2. Along with a variety of new missions that will have you cutting down Titans like trees, you’ll be able to do so on the Nintendo Switch, alongside the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Plus, there will be even more soldiers to do it with, as the publisher has revealed some new screenshots introducing five familiar characters into the fold. Players will now be able to choose from Eld Gin, Gunter Shultz, Moblit Berner, Oruo Bozad and Petra Rall, along with the other characters that were previously made available in the game.
You can see each of these characters in action in the attached gallery, and we’re sure to get some video soon that showcases just what each one can do when it comes to cutting down Titans and looking damn good while they do it.
Koei Tecmo emphasized each of the new characters into the storyline by talking a little bit further about the game. “Attack on Titan 2 delves deeply into the fascinating narrative of Attack on Titan‘s second season and offers players versatile action and new challenges, as it introduces the newly improved omni-directional mobility gear offering advanced freedom of movement and targeting precision to counter enhanced Titan movements.
“Players will be able to try their new moves against these fearsome Titans as they control characters from a Titan-sized roster! Outside of battle they will be able to deepen their relationships with their fellow squad-mates while gaining greater insight into life within the walls thanks to more advanced RPG elements.”
It’s unknown just how big a roster the sequel is going to get, as there could still be more characters yet to be introduced. We’ll certainly take the additions, as they’re likely to add a better deal of variety to the game. It’ll be easy to grow accustomed to a certain few, though, particularly Gunther and Petra. We’ll keep you informed of who else gets introduced in the weeks ahead.
Attack On Titan 2 will be slicing up a storm when the game arrives early next year for Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
