It’s time to strap on that 3DM gear and grab your nearest horse face, but the upcoming Attack on Titan 2 game for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC just dropped a brand new TV spot and it is glorious. Check out the latest video released by Koei Tecmo to see all of the action up close and personal, and remember why we can all collectively hate the Colossal Titan together:
Though in the traditional (and brief) 30 second format, it’s very clear to see how narratively driven the upcoming game is. Pair that with the intense level of character customization, and Attack on Titan 2 is looking to be better and better with each release.
Though the first game was incredibly enjoyable, especially for fans of the hit anime and manga series, it was also unbelievably short. The developing team behind this upcoming game promises a more drawn out experience that will stay true to source material, much to fan relief.
According to the game’s official description:
“Abandon all fear. Attack on Titan 2 is the gripping sequel to the action game based on the worldwide hit anime series Attack on Titan.
Experience the immense story of the anime alongside Eren and his companions, as they fight to save humanity from the threat of the deadly human devouring Titans. Try your hand in operating the omni-directional mobility gear, maneuvering and flying through the sky to counter the Titans, and feel the thrill and satisfaction of battling giant opponents.”
Attack on Titan 2 will launch on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on March 20th 2018, with a Japan release slated for March 15th. Cue motivational Erwin speech here.
