We may have just found the ultimate custom Nintendo Switch setup. We’ve seen people dress up their Nintendo Switch consoles, docks, and controllers in all kinds of creative ways. We’ve seen stickers, we’ve seen paint jobs, we’ve even seen an incredible set of vinyl applications that will make your Nintendo Switch look like an old-school Super Famicom (check that out in the gallery). The folks over at MakoMod are showing off their own passion project, a fully customized, full-function Breath of the Wild Nintendo Switch. Check it out in the video above.

Everything, and we mean everything about this Nintendo Switch has been customized from top to bottom. The console itself, the dock, and the Joy-Con controllers have all had a complete makeover, and it almost looks too good to be true. It almost looks like these components were gutted and then dolled up to look like a functioning Nintendo Switch, but this is the real thing (as you’ll see in the video).

The thing that blows us away are those Joy-Con. Each one has been completely redone with completely custom buttons. If you look at the face buttons, where there was once an A, B, X, and Y, you’ll now find ancient symbols similar to the glowing runes you’ll find scrawled across the walls and structures inside of the various shrines in Breath of the Wild.

The artists here did a wonderful job of marrying those two aesthetics together in this piece. That ancient, almost alien style that we find in the shrines and the runes, and then that classic, rustic vibe that permeates the entire game. In addition to the gold and the runes we find wood, and what looks liek leather and stone. It’s a true work of art, and not something that you’re going to find in any store.

We’re always on the lookout for awesome custom Switches. Did you catch the Nintendo 64 that was modded into a Nintendo Switch dock? If so you can check that out right here.
