Waluigi

Waluigi just doesn't get enough credit in this world. Sure, Wario's got his fair share of video games, but, damn it, when are we going to be able to play Waluigi's Mansion?

While we wait for him to get his due in video games, it's nice to see Waluigi get a nod elsewhere – in this case, on the back of some vehicle in Maine.

A Twitter user by the name of Seth Macy, who also "babysits IGN on the weekends" (probably doing some reporting), decided to make a name for his vehicle in good ol' Maine, and has registered for the ultimate customized license plate – one that reads in letters big and proud "WALUIGI".

The screenshot he took off of the Maine Bureau of Motor Vehicles web page (which can be seen below) indicates that he has successfully registered for the plate, and soon it'll only be a matter of time before he can cruise down the road in his vehicle of choice with it – preferably a motorbike with an unlimited amount of turtle shells and banana peels, straight out of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

"Thank you for using the online vanity plate reservation service," the notice reads. "Your order has been received by the Bureau of Motor Vehicles. Your confirmation number is (blocked out for obvious reasons).

"Your order will be processed by the Bureau of Motor Vehicles and mailed to you when it is completed. It will take approximately 4-6 weeks to manufacture this plate. You will receive a copy of this confirmation by email and another email notice as to the status of your order."

And get this – he only paid $27.00 for the extra customization fee. $27?! Down here a customized plate costs at least $100. Man…maybe we need to move to Maine.

Anyway, congratulations to Seth on the customization choice. Now all that's missing are a few Waluigi bumper stickers, or maybe even the option to dress up as Waluigi every once in a while. After all, you gotta sell the license plate, right? "It's a-me, Waluigi! HEHEHEHE!"

Come to think of it, maybe we should try for some Waluigi plates. Wish us luck!
