Destiny 2: Here Are The Most Popular Classes And Sub-Classes, State By State

There are a number of options open to you in Destiny 2 when it comes to classes and sub-classes, and the abilities that tie in with them. It’s almost enough to prompt you to go through the game multiple times, just to see what each one has to offer.

But have you ever wondered just what the more popular ones are? The team at Zippia recently did, utilizing the Google Adwords and Google Trends programs to calculate what the most popular classes and sub-classes are across the United States.

Now, the results aren’t exact, and some of the numbers might be a little bit off, so take these results with caution, and not anything that officially resembles the game. Still, it’s interesting to see where things end up – and just who likes what.

Breaking It Down

According to the breakdown, the Warlock is the most popular class within the game, followed closely behind by the Titan and Hunter. This is almost an exact opposite of how the first Destiny fared, with the Hunter being the top class and the Warlock getting third place. (Titan retained its second place spot.)

The subclasses have gone through quite a revamping with the sequel, so that might play a hand in how the Warlock has managed to attain some popularity. The Dawnblade subclass seemed to be the most popular amongst Warlock players, though the other subclasses weren’t utilized as much.

As far as subclasses go, here’s the breakdown of what’s most popular. As expected, Dawnblade dominates, but what follows may be a surprise – Gunslinger in second place and Striker in third.
