A gameplay trailer for Far Cry 5 that was recently revealed shows how creative players can get with vehicles by using them in their killing sprees.

The trailer that was released by Ubisoft features an extended look at Far Cry 5’s gameplay with commentary to narrate the player’s actions. One of the first thing that viewers is how fantastic the game looks, sun shining and grass swaying in a deceptively dangerous Montana setting. But the game looks even better when the protagonist is rolling over adversaries with a tractor like the trailer quickly jumps to.
Hopping into the cab of an abandoned tractor, a group of three enemies is quickly taken on with one of them exploding into a spray of blood after being ran down. The second is picked off with a few quick, silenced bullets directed towards the enemy. One enemy gets away, but another is quickly consumed with a fiery explosion as his truck gets blown up with ease.
Moving on downriver, a group of cultists is encountered that appears to be forcing a baptism upon a reluctant individual. While the companion has been shown off before, the conflict allows for another chance to highlight the skills that Far Cry 5’s dog, Boomer, uses to assist players. Able to retrieve guns and incapacitate enemies on his own to allow for more coordinated assaults, Boomer definitely looks to be an important asset to your team.
But Montana is a big place to explore on your own, so it makes sense that you’d need something a bit more reliable than a tractor to help you take in the scenery. A plane that’s available for players seems to do just the trick, an aircraft that allows for a quick scan of your surroundings. Players can seek out points of interest and other resources from the skies to help them map out their travels. Of course, the plane is also equipped with weapons so that you can take care of any other enemies that might inhibit your exploration.
Far Cry 5 is scheduled to release on Feb. 27 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
