FIFA 18 has proven to be a resilient title as it holds steady at the No. 1 spot in the UK sales charts, but Destiny 2 has dropped a couple of ranks thanks to some much-anticipated racing games.

The popularity of FIFA 18 in the UK should certainly not be underestimated, but not even Forza could take down the latest installment in the FIFA games. Forza Motorsport 7 took the second-place spot during the fast-paced game’s launch week, and another Forza game was also able to push Destiny 2 down even lower.
Forza Horizon 3 took the third-place spot during the week’s sales in the UK, a game that some racing fans might be surprised to see so high up on the list. It reached that spot thanks to some special hardware bundles that boosted the game’s sales and placed it a spot ahead of Bungie’s new hit title.
With Destiny 2 still remaining comfortably in the top 10 games, the most recent list of best-selling games in the UK from sales tracker Chart-Track also features a couple of returning contenders like Grand Theft Auto V that are expected to remain among the top games for quite some time. The chart accounts for physical sales, not digital ones:
- NBA 2K18
- Mario Kart 8: Deluxe
- The Lego Ninjago Video game
- Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy
- Grand Theft Auto V
- Destiny 2
- Forza Horizon 3
- Forza Motorsport 7
- FIFA 18
- Lego Worlds
Just last week, Destiny 2 was beat out by FIFA 18 in the UK’s charts that tracked PlayStation sales, bumped down to the No. 2 spot from the previous week. While most players have likely already picked up their copy of the sequel game and are already hard at work completing raids and amassing their loot collection, the game certainly still has potential to rise in the charts again. The Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 both already have their version, but the sales may spike once more when the game releases for the PC on Oct. 27.
