Details on the upcoming emotional battle have been revealed, including that the expansion can be beaten within one and a half to two hours, depending on the player’s style and that it is definitely more cut scene heavy in comparison to the previous DLC, Episode Prompto. The bright side is that there are multiple endings, which can directly affect the ending of the base game itself.

As far as the “First Anniversary Update” goes, Daisuke Oe, Development Manager, took the helm to discuss some of the changes made to the game, including the ability to play as Ignis, Prompto, and Gladiolus. For those that have played the DLC, they will fight just as they did in their separate storylines, and the update is expected to drop this November! Check out the flawless swap out in the video demo below (full demo, including a deeper look inside of the upcoming DLC):

In addition to the new updates, there will also be more DLC, at least three, to be added in the coming year including that of Episode Ardyn. This episode will allow players to learn more about the world setting of the game itself and present a different perspective to the rapidly growing game. And yes, according to the presentation, the team is highly aware that there is a demand for Luna.

With all of the exciting additions on the horizon, it’s a great time to dive back into Final Fantasy XV. The game is currently available for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, with a PC launch slated for early 2018.
