A teaser posted to Friday the 13th: The Game's social media accounts hints that players will soon be receiving some new content related to the iconic Jason Voorhees, though what exactly that content entails is still up in the air.

News of the upcoming Jason-themed content initially came from Randy Greenback, the executive producer and director of Gun Media. Greenback tweeted that the game's team was back with Kane Hodder to work on more motion capture sequences, though the details of the content weren't clear at the time. It's now been confirmed that players are most certainly getting some new kills, courtesy of Hodder's legendary performance as Jason both in the movies and in the game.

The first kill that was previewed shows Jason taking a swing at a Counselor with what is likely a machete before throwing them down onto the ground. In addition to this kill that was teased, another post came today from the game's main Twitter that showed Hodder talking about the motion capture project where the actor specifically mentioned a pitchfork being used, something that relates directly to the Savini Jason skin that uses the fiery weapon.

While the two clips that were posted about the upcoming content mean that some more kills are definitely on the way, players are still hopeful that the previews could mean even more than that. In the first video, the weapon that Hodder was using raised speculation as to what type of machete it might be. While it's entirely possible that it could just be a plain machete from a current Jason variation, some speculated that it might even be the machete used by Uber Jason, a form of the killer that's been requested since before the game's release.

The kills are expected, but an extra Jason to play as would be much appreciated and might be the perfect addition to satisfy requests from players to add more content. Since they're teasing the motion captures and content so freely, news of what exactly players can look forward to will likely be revealed soon.
