The League of Legends jungler Udyr has been a point of discussion recently with all of the champions getting reworked as many players and fans of the Spirit Walker have been wondering where he'll get his time to shine after an update hopefully brings him back up to speed with other powerful junglers like Zac, Gragas, and Elise. Though some changes have been tested in recent PBE cycles as Riot Games explores different options for Udyr, nothing has been set in stone yet, and it's likely going to stay that way for a couple more patches.

While Udyr isn't in line for a full-blown rework like Galio, Warwick, and now Urgot have received, it's already been confirmed that he's going to be on the receiving end of a smaller update similar to LeBlanc and Azir. But according to Riot Meddler, we likely won't be seeing these changes until several patches have passed.

"At this point we'll be holding off on any updates, such as Udyr's, until after 7.18," Meddler said in a recent Gameplay Thoughts discussion. "Some of that's a desire to keep the next few patches more stable, a lot of it's also that people who are working on Udyr, LB, Azir etc are also generally on a fair bit of other work as well during these patches, so development and testing time's limited."

Meddler added that from Patch 7.19 onward, these champions will be receiving more attention when it comes to their smaller-scale updates. The Rioter said that Udyr will likely come first of the three updates, followed by Azir's, and finally ending with LeBlanc's changes.

If you haven't been keeping up with the jungler's plight, in recent patches, he's had several changes that were tested on the PBE that didn't make it through to the actual patch. Some of his strengths were shifted around, abilities were slightly reworked, and buffs were dolled out, but all of the changes were reverted and Udyr was absent from Patch 7.15's notes.

LeBlanc has a few changes currently in the works leading up to her larger changes, but they're coming in the form of nerfs as opposed to buffs. Some of these champs might see additional smaller changes with upcoming patches, but nothing major should happen for a while.
