Star Wars: Battlefront II has a lot more going for it than the original game, as you've seen thus far with all the trailers and reveals for the sequel. But one thing that stands out is the new single player campaign, which covers the adventures of Inferno Squad leader Iden Versio, as she attempts to go after the Rebels following the death of the Emperor.

But while you'll be able to kick plenty of butt with Iden in single player, we were kind of wondering why she wasn't available for the multiplayer portion of the game. However, EA has confirmed that these fears were all for naught, as she's featured as one of the playable characters.

The trailer for her inclusion in the multiplayer portion of Battlefront was revealed on Twitter earlier today, and can be seen below. Along with showing you Iden in action, it also features a number of her abilities that can be used in multiplayer, including a pulse cannon that can blast an enemy within a single shot; a droid shield that can protect you from gunfire for a limited amount of time; and the ability to summon a droid that can fly off and stun an opponent to death – ideal if you've got someone that's hiding in cover.

In addition, the trailer also showed off a new alternate outfit for Iden, featuring her in a stunning white variant – far different from her usual dark duds. You can check it out below!

We actually got to play some of the single player campaign that involves Iden, and will break that down into further detail next week. But it's great to see that she'll be an all-around playable character in the game, both in single player and multiplayer!

Star Wars: Battlefront II releases on November 17th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Origin PC.
