This Custom God Of War Controller Is Pretty Awesome

There are plenty of great custom PlayStation 4 controllers out there, but it's the ones designed by the truly devoted artists that are worth taking note of. And with that, we mean the latest controller based on God of War, designed by an artist by the name of Devin Smith.
Instead of just making a skin for an already existing PS4 controller, Devin went all out and created a design that has the resemblance of being made out of stone, complete with a little leather and cloth so that it resembles the look of Kratos. For that matter, it also has a devoted paint job that's similar to Kratos' face, right down to the red marks that appear on his face. Those are here, too.
You can actually move the leather pad so that you can play with the D-pad easily, if you rpefer, and you can also use the touchpad by moving the panel out of the way, so you don't have to worry about wearing out your thumb. For that matter, the back of the pad is pretty incredible too, as you can see from the picture below, with some emblem printing and even more paint that resembles the design of old-school Kratos.
That said, don't go looking for this controller at stores, as this is pretty much a "one and done" deal for Devin, as he put it together with other designs for games like Hitman, Just Cause 3, Fallout, Deus Ex and Metal Gear Solid, which you can actually see over on his web page, called End of the Line. He doesn't really list any sort of commissioning possibilities, but it never hurts to send him an email and see what he can do for you. Who knows – you just might be able to get your own God of War controller for the right price.
The new God of War game is set to arrive in 2018 for PlayStation 4.
