THQ Nordic has a lot of games in development right now, but there’s one in particular that’s worth noting for fans of “famous, spine-chilling” adventure – Black Mirror. (No, not based on the hit TV show.)

The company has announced that a new adventure in its dormant series is in the works, set for release on November 28th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. The game is being developed by KING Art Games, and follows a character named David Gordon, who finds himself at his family’s ancestral home in the Scottish highlands, following the sudden death of his father. He begins investigating what happened, only to find some mysterious situations that lead to the supernatural.
You can read more about the game’s story from the company’s description:
Tormented by nightmares and waking dreams for all his life, he fears that it might be his destiny to follow in his father’s footsteps, down a path that leads to madness and death.
Is there really a curse that has been haunting his family for generations as his father believed? Or are the mysteries hidden inside the cold walls of Black Mirror house of a far more wordly nature?
It is up to David to uncover the horrible truths, buried under generations of silence and fathoms of stone.
Black Mirror has the same point-and-click gameplay style as the earlier graphic adventures, and should be a real kick for fans.
THQ Nordic intends to introduce the game at Gamescom 2017 next week, alongside its other titles. You can check out the trailer above and see just what the company has in mind with its evil intentions.
