“We’re proud to announce that Uncharted: The Lost Legacy has gone gold! We can’t wait to get it into your hands, beginning August 22.” “Going gold” for those of you who don’t know, means that the game has officially wrapped up development, and the disc that you see going into the PS4 in that gif Naughty Dog shared is basically the version of the game that will be put on the disc that you’ll be inserting into your own PS4s at home. Sure, multiple patches and updates will be coming down the pipeline, but the game is done and ready to go. Time to get hyped!
Naughty Dog’s post is full of hyped fans, who spilled their guts (and their gifs) into the Twitter thread. We had no idea half of these Nathan Drake gifs even existed. Check out some of these hilarious tributes:

What’s ironic is that the majority of hype gifs feature Nathan Drake, who actually isn’t the star of the game this time around. We’re all pumped, and August 22 can’t come soon enough!
“Uncharted: The Lost Legacy follows treasure hunter Chloe Frazer on her journey to recover an ancient Indian artifact. In order to track it down โ and keep it out of the hands of a ruthless war profiteer โ she must enlist the help of former paramilitary leader turned gun-for-hire Nadine Ross.
“Together, Chloe and Nadine venture deep into the mountains of India’s Western Ghats to find the ruins of the Hoysala Empire and recover the legendary golden Tusk of Ganesh. Along the way, they’ll learn to work together and leverage their unique skills to unearth the mystery of the Tusk.”
