This was the year that Funko‘s Pocket Pop advent calendars for the holidays moved beyond Harry Potter, Marvel, and Fortnite. There was a horror-themed Halloween advent calendar, a Nightmare Before Christmas advent calendar, and the very first anime-themed Pop advent calendar in the form of Dragon Ball Z. With December just around the corner, now is the time to grab one – especially since Amazon dropped the price by 20% for the first time.

Funko’s Dragon Ball Z advent calendar includes 24 Pocket Pops based on characters from the series. As you can see in the picture above, Goku, Vegeta, Master Roshi, and Piccolo are confirmed for the set, but the remaining figures will remain a surprise – as they should. The DBZ advent calendar is in stock and shipping now from Amazon for $31.99 (20% off). Reserve one while you can because it is going to be hugely popular for the holidays.

On a related note, Dragon Ball Super got a new edition of Monopoly from The Op / USAopoly last week, and it’s the real Tournament of Power. In Monopoly: Dragon Ball Super Universe Survival edition (Amazon) you’ll buy, sell, and trade fighters like Goku, Jiren, Gohan, Piccolo, Frost, and Vegeta in an effort to become the richest and most powerful fighter. This version of Monopoly also has 8 sculpted tokens instead of the standard six (Universe Symbols 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 9, 10, and 11).

The board features 26 spaces for fighters in their various forms, with Gods and Warriors cards replacing Community Chest and Chance decks. God cards give you the option to take advantage of special abilities like a new Saiyan form that allows you to break out of the Cocotte Zone or spirit bombs that can steal money energy from your foes. Warrior cards allow for “instant transmission to someone’s specific space on the board after a fight, where for example, Frieza’s aid may amount to a reward, but Bulma’s repairs will also cost you a buck.”

Dragon Ball Super Monopoly sold out quickly on Amazon after being released – but it should return soon. You can also grab it directly from The Op for $39.99.
