The second half of Season 4 also moves into a new chapter for Yo-Yo and Mack, who finally came together in a romantic relationship prior to the break. Natalia Cordova-Buckley, the actress who plays Yo-Yo, spoke to ComicBook.com about the new relationship and why it is significant even beyond Agents of SHIELD.

“I think there might be a little stability with her and Mack,” Cordova-Buckley says. “We’ll have to wait and see. I sure hope so. I think it’s, firstly, wonderful that Henry and I are minorities, I’m Mexican and he’s African American, and that I’m Inhuman in the show and he’s human, and all that just coming together and having it be such a grounded, based on respect and love relationship is just something I love exploring and something I love the viewers to watch, and to kind of compare to the world we’re living in because that’s all we need. We just need to love each other and be kind to each other no matter who we are, what we are, our powers or no power. It’s about accepting each other and belonging to each.”
