Like its predecessors, Doctor Strange has taken the world by storm. The highly anticipated film finally debuted to eager U.S. audiences last Friday, and moviegoers have flooded theaters in their pursuit to see the film. As always, Marvel Studios has imbued their newest blockbuster with all sorts of neat easter eggs and comic book teasers - but let's face it. It's really hard to keep track of all the film's fun tidbits.

So, we should probably give a big thanks to the guys over at Mr. Sunday Movies. The Youtube channel has just uploaded a 10-minute video that breakdowns all of Doctor Strange's hidden cameos, references, and inside jokes.

If you are looking for an in-depth overview of the film's easter eggs, then ComicBook.com can help you there. Our own Lucas Seigel will go over the Top 12 Easter Eggs in Doctor Strange for you here if you're interested.

However, there is one special easter egg from the film that didn't quite make the cut. When Siegel visited the set of Doctor Strange earlier this year, he noticed a rather peculiar prop that caught his eye. When he asked about the rogue weapon, Siegel learned Doctor Strange originally had a Dark Knight easter egg that was eventually scrapped.

The item that Siegel spotted was none other than the Dark Knight's iconic sword, the Ebony Blade. Often compared to King Arthur's Excalibur, the Black Knight wielded the cursed sword after it was crafted from a meteor.

Propmaster Barry Gibbs told ComicBook.com, ""It was [going to be in the movie]. That was going to go into a book called the Lexicon of Relics, but the Ebony Blade was taken out of the script. I don't quite know why. Again, as things evolved, it wasn't pertinent to the script. Things just moved on."

From Marvel comes DOCTOR STRANGE, the story of world-famous neurosurgeon Dr. Stephen Strange whose life changes forever after a horrific car accident robs him of the use of his hands. He quickly learns that this is not just a center for healing but also the front line of a battle against unseen dark forces bent on destroying our reality. Before long Strange – armed with newly acquired magical powers – is forced to choose whether to return to his life of fortune and status or leave it all behind to defend the world as the most powerful sorcerer in existence. Join Strange on his dangerous, mystifying, and totally mind-bending journey.
