Did you know that Deadpool had a daughter? He does. Her name is Elle and even Deadpool wasn't aware that she existed until fairly recently.
Elle lives with Agent Preston of SHIELD now, a friend of Deadpool's, and Deadpool and Preston are both doing their best to keep her happy, safe, and living a relatively normal kid's life. The thing is, Elle's a mutant, and things only stay "relatively normal" for mutants for so long.
SPOILERS for Deadpool #25 follow.
Things are definitely not normal in the year 2099. By the year 2099, Deadpool has as a second daughter, Warda. Warda's mother is Shiklah, Deadpool's current wife. Apparently, Deadpool and Shiklah have a falling out at some point and Shiklah goes missing. Warda really wants to know where her mother is, and so kidnapped Deadpool. Elle had to come to Deadpool's rescue, and now the two Deadpool daughters are fighting each other for the Deadpool name.
Warda gets the upper hand, pumps Elle full of napalm, and Elle is incinerated. Warda thinks that's the end of her half-sister, but then Deadpool remembers that Elle is a mutant, and Elle gets better.
As Deadpool explains, he has a healing factor that is constantly working to heal his wounds. Elle can heal as well, except she does it all at once. She ages and gets wounded and eventually dies, only to regenerate with a brand new body resembling how she looked when she was a young teenager, when her powers first manifested, but with her memories all intact.
Deadpool and his daughters manage to work things out, and now the mystery of Elle's mutant powers has been solved.
