Marvel Comics has provided ComicBook.com with an exclusive preview of Thanos #1, the new Marvel NOW! Series from writer Jeff Lemire and artist Mike Deodato that follows Marvel’s villainous Mad Titan.

When ComicBook.com exclusively revealed the new Thanos series in July, Lemire reflected on how exciting it was to get to play with one of Marvel’s biggest bad guys.
“It’s completely different and completely refreshing,” Lemire said. “The main attraction to doing this book was being able to dive into the dark side and tell a totally different type of book set in the Marvel U that is from a villain’s point of view. It’s forcing me to go to some new places with my writing and try new things.”
Thanos sees the Mad Titan heading back to space with plans to remind everyone of why he is the scariest villain the Marvel universe, and it starts with him seeking revenge on his family.
Thanos #1 goes on sale in comic book stores and in digital comics apps on Nov. 16, 2016. Check out the preview pages in the gallery below.
