The clip shines the spotlight on Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick). Wing is a martial artist who, in the Marvel Comics Universe, is one-half the Daughters of the Dragon, alongside Misty Knight. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, she runs a dojo, and in both universes, she is a close ally of Iron Fist.
The clip shows Wing fighting well outside of her weight class, battling two larger men in an underground cage fight. Check it out in the video below.
Colleen Wing was created by Doug Moench, Larry Hama, and Neal Adams. She made her first appearance in 1974, in the pages of Marvel Premiere #19. Her grandfather trained her in the ways of the samurai. In addition to being part of the Daughters of the Dragon and an ally of both Luke Cage and Iron Fist, Wing has been a full-time member of the Heroes for Hire Herself.

Marvel’s Iron Fist is the final Marvel solo series to debut on Netflix ahead of the Marvel’s Defenders crossover series. Marvel’s Defenders will bring Iron together with Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Kristyn Ritter), and Luke Cage (Michael Colter), who have each been featured in their own Netflix series.
Marvel’s Iron Fist developed by Scott Buck. The Netflix series stars Finn Jones as Danny Rand, a martial arts expert with the ability to call upon the power of the Iron Fist. The cast also includes Jessica Henwick, David Wenham, Jessica Stroup, Tom Pelphrey, and Rosario Dawson.
Iron Fist was created by Roy Thomas and Gil Kane for Marvel Comics. Iron Fist made his first appearance in Marvel Premiere #15 in 1974. Though he has headlined his own series, he is best known for being Luke Cage’s partner in the Heroes for Hire.
Marvel’s Iron Fist premieres March 17, 2017 exclusively on Netflix.
