Some important production details have recently been unearthed about Marvel Television and ABC’s latest collaboration.

Casting announcements have yet to be made for the Inhuman Royal Family, the presumed focus of the new show, but a recent tweet by Reel News Hawaii revealed the production’s working title.

The source that revealed the name Project Next is made more credible with the announcement that Inhumans will be filming in Hawaii, according to a news report from Pacific Business News.

The report quotes Hawaiian State Film Office Commissioner Donne Dawson, who states the production has rented a large, unused Naval facility to house props, build sets, and support other aspects of the production.

“The real exciting part about this is that it is a huge shot in the arm for the community and surrounding community,” Dawson told Pacific Business News. “It’s an absolutely thrilling opportunity for the Kapolei-Kalaeloa-West Oahu area to be a host of a production of the size and magnitude of this one.”

Pre-production is currently under way, and an updated production schedule is expectedly forthcoming. That means casting is likely underway and we should expect some announcements shortly.

Marvel’s The Inhumans will air the first two episodes in IMAX theaters on September 4, 2017, while the show will debut on ABC on September 26.
