Marvel announced today that they have added a trio of actors to the cast of the forthcoming Netflix seris A.K.A. Jessica Jones, a loose adaptation of Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Gaydos' acclaimed Alias.

After a tragic ending to her short-lived super hero stint, Jessica Jones is rebuilding her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases involving people with extraordinary abilities in New York City. 

Here's how Marvel describes the newly-cast characters. start your speculation engines as to just who each of them might be:

Eka Darville ("The Originals," "Power Rangers R.P.M.) plays Malcolm, a neighbor of Jessica's whose own journey will intertwine with her quest in a surprising way.

Erin Moriarty ("The Kings of Summer," "Red Widow") plays Hope, a young girl who becomes a client of Alias Investigations.

Wil Traval ("Red Widow," "All Saints") plays an NYPD cop who takes "protect and serve" very seriously.

A.K.A. Jessica Jones stars Krysten Ritter in the title role, and will tie into other Netflix/Marvel collaborations like Marvel's Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron Fist, ultimately building to Marvel's The Defenders. The 13-episode series will premiere on Netflix in 2015.
