This isn’t the first artwork for the series that’s been released today. At NYCC, attendees could get their hands on a variant cover edition of Marvel Premiere #15 that features Iron Fist artwork. Created by Jay Anacleto and Romulo Fajardo, the two artists created a rather impressive image of Iron Fist. The artwork used actor Finn Jones as inspiration and draws the hero based on his visage.
Ahead of Comic Con, Marvel Television took time to get fans excited for the series and its upcoming updates. The company shared an announcement trailer for Iron Fist which shows smoke forming in the shape of Danny Rand’s dragon tattoo. The trailer also confirmed the series would be released on March 17, 2017. Fans were also treated to a behind-the-scenes look at Finn Jones playing Danny Rand. The set photo showed the actor filming an intense fight sequence as he prepares to knock out an unknown henchmen. Behind him, fans could see unconscious bodies littered on the floor, no doubt signaling that Iron Fist had just finished kicking serious butt.
