Danny Rand is coming home!

After making its premiere Thursday night at San Diego Comic Con, during the Marvel-Netflix panel, the first teaser trailer for Marvel's Iron Fist has been released.

The nearly-minute long video begins with a young Danny Rand in a doomed airplane with his parents. We then see him lying on a snow-covered ground, apparently the only survivor of the plane crash. He is found by two monks. It then skips ahead to present day New York City, where we see a dirty, unkempt Danny walking barefoot. We then get shots of him in a mental hospital pulling at his restraints and creating a huge hole in the side of a building with one of his powerful punches. It concludes with a close-up shot of Danny and someone says, "Hello, Danny."

In Marvel's Iron Fist, Danny Rand returns to New York City after being missing for years, trying to reconnect with his past and his family legacy. He fights against the criminal element corrupting his world around him with his incredible kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist.

The cast also features Finn Jones ("Game of Thrones") as Daniel Rand/Iron Fist, Jessica Henwick ("Game of Thrones," "Star Wars: The Force Awakens") as Colleen Wing, David Wenham as Harold Meachum, Jessica Stroup ("The Following") as Joy Meachum, and Tom Pelphrey ("Banshee") as Ward Meachum, as well as a guest appearance from Carrie-Anne Moss ("The Matrix") reprising her Jessica Jones role as lawyer Jeri Hogarth

Marvel's Iron Fist will premiere on Netflix in 2017.
