We're looking at the rosters of both DC Comics and Marvel Comics, now two decades removed from the original event, and reimagining what that fight card might look like if the event took place today. And, just like in the original DC Vs. Marvel event, you, the fans, will vote to decide the winners!

In this matchup, we have Lex Luthor of the DC Universe taking on Doctor Doom of the Marvel Universe! We've laid out arguments for both sides in the video above, now it's up to you to vote!

In the DC Comics corner: Lex Luthor once thought of himself as the peak of humanity, a brilliant scientist, and a successful businessman who saw himself as the man who makes Metropolis the greatest city on the planet.

Then Superman showed up and everything changed. Others saw Superman as a savior and a hero, but Luthor saw him as an unwanted guest trying to take power away from those who had earned it.

Luthor embarked on a life of villainy but has recently been trying out the life of a hero. Luthor joined the Justice League and, following the apparent death of Superman, crafted a set of power armor with Superman's own "S" shield on the front and has attempted to take the Man of Steel's place as defender of the innocent.

Luthor has long been one of the greatest villains in comics, which will surely earn him some voting power.

In the Marvel corner: Doctor Doom, the ruler of Latveria, has long been one of the most feared men in the Marvel Universe, and now he plans to become perhaps the Marvel Universe's most infamous superheroes.

Doom once had friends like Reed Richards, but a terrible accident that left him scarred along with his own enormous ego ostracized him from the rest of the world.

Doom's confidence is well earned. He's a political titan, a scientific genius, and a master of the arcane arts. He even pulled off a scheme that allowed him to recreate the entire multiverse as Battleworld, with Doom himself installed as God-King.

Since Battleworld was destroyed and the Marvel Universe was reborn, Doom's scars have healed and he's attempted to come out of the shadows and reform. With Tony Stark apparently retiring from his superhero life, Doom is stepping into the Iron Man armor.

Though he may be playing at hero now, Doom remains one of the most iconic comic book villains of all time. That's sure to draw plenty of votes his way.

So, dear reader, will it be Doctor Doom or Lex Luthor? Make your choice and vote!
