ComicBook.com's DC Vs. Marvel: Green Arrow Vs. Spider-Man

We're looking at the rosters of both DC Comics and Marvel Comics, now two decades removed from the original event, and reimagining what that fight card might look like if the event took place today. And, just like in the original DC Vs. Marvel event, you, the fans, will vote to decide the winners!

In this matchup, we have Green Arrow of the DC Universe taking on Spider-Man of the Marvel Universe! We've laid out arguments for both sides in the video above, now it's up to you to vote!

In the DC Comics corner: Oliver Queen as once your typical, spoiled, billionaire playboy Then he spent some time stranded on an island and returned home a changed man.

Part of the way Queen survived his time on that island was by mastering the use of a bow and arrow. Queen continued to put those skills to good use when he returned to Star City and became the masked vigilante called Green Arrow.

As Green Arrow, Queen has become a modern day Robin Hood, fighting against the corruption of the upper class in the name of the little guy. Green Arrow is a symbol, and those that respond to it that symbol will surely vote in his favor.

In the Marvel corner: Peter Parker was bit by a radioactive spider that gave him spider-related powers, but it wasn't until his Uncle Ben taught up about the balance of power and responsibility, and Ben's untimely death, that Peter Parker truly became Spider-Man.

Spider-Man can stick to wall and has enhanced agility and strength, plus a spider sense that helps keep him safe. It was Peter's own aptitude for science and invention that led to the creation of the web-shooters that allow Spidey to swing through the New York City skyline.

Spider-Man's struggle to balance his personal life with duties as a hero helped reinvent the modern superhero for a new era and made him one of the most relatable characters in the Marvel Universe. Those many fans who have seen their own struggles in Spider-Man's are sure to come out to show their support by voting.
