While elements of 2000’s X-Men have stood the test of time, the cast’s fashion choices appear to be another thing altogether.

Twitter user DanBlackroyd recently shared a delightfully dated photo of the X-Men cast at the film’s Ellis Island premiere. The photo is a group shot of many of the film’s ensemble cast members – Anna Paquin, Famke Janssen, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Halle Berry, and Hugh Jackman.
As he pointed out, the cast’s wardrobe – from McKellen’s wood-patterned suit to Berry’s bikini top – covers a wide variety of the fashion spectrum.

Once he reminded everyone of the photo, it’s safe to say that the Internet had a bit of a field day. In less than two days, the initial tweet has garnered tens of thousands of retweets and likes, and sparked quite a few hilarious responses, both from X-Men fans and people just nostalgic for the early 2000s.
