Transformers: The Last Knight is about to hit theaters, bringing the fifth installment of Michael Bay's infamous movie adaptation of the classic cartoons and toy line. Whether you hate or love the mix of bombastic action and kitchsy comedy in Bay's films, there's one thing we an all probably agree on: The Transformers movies have brought out the best bots over its run.
ComicBook.com is helping settle the debate as to which Transformers are the best and came up with our ranking of the Top 10.
One of our favorites won't be around for The Last Night, as No. 2-ranked Starscream was already killed.
Starscream is pretty iconic in the Transformers franchise - he's everyone's whiny underachieving villain to hate.
The bot hung around for all of Bay's original trilogy, in his classic role of trying to prove what a bigger badass than Megatron he is, and failing at it, completely.
In Dark of the Moon, Starscream tries to at least show some gumption and take out human characters Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) and Col. Lennox(Josh Duhamel); instead, he suffers the franchise's most gruesome death at the hands of humans, when Sam shoots a grappling hook through one of his eyes, and an explosive boomstick in the other.
