This is obviously potentially spoilery, although it’s probably safe to say that somebody’s messing with us.The Spider-Man’s Web, a Twitter account that generates and aggregates Amazing Spider-Man news, shared the image at left, featuring Gwen Stacy standing on a bridge in what, to many comic book fans, is a pretty familiar outfit.Fans of the comic books will recognize this as the outfit Gwen was wearing when she died–after being hurled from the highest point of the Manhattan Bridge. Seeing her standing on a bridge, wearing those clothes is…well, it’s something.Of course, don’t take this as a spoiler at face value. This shoot has been inundated–as outdoor shoots for major motion pictures in New York City often are–with paparazzi and fan-shot photos and video, with somebody even going so far as to launch a paparazzi drone onto the set at one point. It’s distinctly possible that a shot like this could be setting reporters who cry “This is it! She’s doomed!” up to look a little silly.
