Did you think everybody in the world who had an opinion on the matter had already weighed in on Ben Affleck as Batman? Think again. Colin Farrell, who appeared with Ben Affleck in the 2003 Daredevil movie, has now offered up his opinion on the whole Batfleck situation. In an interview with Total Film, Farrell said, “Good luck to him. I think he’ll do a great job. As an actor, I don’t know that I know anyone that’s improved as much as he has. That sounds like a s*** thing to say.”Farrell added, “I always enjoyed watching him, as a director he’s extraordinary too, but his work in The Town and Argo, he was so fantastic in both those films. In Argo, it was such a controlled performance, I think he’ll kill as Batman, I hope he does and shuts the naysayers up.”Batman Vs. Superman (unless Warner Bros. decides to make it Justice League) will be released in movie theaters on May 6, 2016 (unless Warner Bros. changes the date again).
