The latest casting news in the Potterverse has been announced with Green Room star Callum Turner being in negotiations to play the brother of Newt Scamander in the forthcoming sequel to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
Originally reported by Variety.com, the second-of-five planned films would be the first true mainstream role for Turner who brokethrough with Green Room before taking on Tramps. He has also been cast for The Only Living Boy in New York, opposite Jeff Bridges, which opens in August.

The second film in the franchise is expected to be a further dive into a darker world than the Harry Potter series as the Wizarding World members are beginning to explore the harsh realities of their powers, who is abusing them, and which side each of the main characters will choose to belong to.
