20th Century Fox may have teased us all with a 16-second trailer last week, but it’s time now for the real deal. After announcing the event on Sunday, the studio has officially released the trailer for Kingsman: The Golden Circle.

Taron Egerton is back as Eggsy, the main character of the franchise. However, this time around, he’s joined by an American agency called, The Statesmen. Heading up this new crew are heavy-hitting stars Jeff Bridges, Channing Tatum, Halle Berry, and Pedro Pascal. Oscar-winning actress Julianne Moore – who has previously starred alongside Bridges in The Big Lebowski and The Seventh Son – portrays the film’s villain.

In Kingsman: The Golden Circle, with their headquarters destroyed and the world held hostage, members of Kingsman find new allies when they discover a spy organization in the United States known as Statesman. In an adventure that tests their strength and wits, the elite secret agents from both sides of the pond band together to battle a ruthless enemy and save the day, something that’s becoming a bit of a habit for Eggsy. The titular “Golden Circle” is a secret society bent on world domination.
Kingsman: The Golden Circle has had a few release dates, first in June and then in October, but the film is now officially scheduled to open in theaters on Sept. 22, 2017.
The Big Lebowski Nod In Kingsman 2
Kingsman: The Golden Circle just debuted its first trailer teaser, butย made fans work hard to discover any actual footage. However, once you slow it down (as we’ve done in the video above), you’ll notice that there is a lot of information packed into the footage.
If you’re a fan of the cult classic movie The Big Lebowski, then theย Kingsmanย franchise is seriously doing right by you.
First of all,ย two of Lebowski’s biggest stars landed major roles in the movie. The Dude himself, Jeff Bridges, will portray the leader of the American organization, the Statesmen. Julianne Moore, who played his quasi-love interest Maude Lebowski, is set to star as The Golden Circle‘s villain. Both characters were seen in the short teaser, but that wasn’t the only nod to the Coenย Brothers’ classic.
It’s clear that Moore’s character, Poppy, has a crazy evil hideout. While most of it looks like an old diner in the jungle, there’s one frame depicting a different room in her residence – a bowling alley….

Every Frame Of The 15-Second Teaser
The first trailer teaser for Kingsman: The Golden Circle was just released, and there was a TON of information throughout the footage. Unfortunately, all of those secrets were hidden within a 16-second video.
What seemed like a full trailer was condensed into that small time frame, and it was difficult to get a good look at anything that’s actually going on. Fortunately, we’ve got you covered.

First Kingsman: The Golden Circle Character Details
With all of the summer blockbusters on the way – Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2, Wonder Woman, Pirates of The Caribbean 5, just to name a few – it’s easy to forget that September could easily house one of the year’s biggest hits. Kingsman: The Golden Circle is looking to compound on the success of its predecessor, which fans seriously loved.
Matthew Vaughn is returning to direct the new film – the first time he’s ever made a sequel – so that’s a good sign from the jump. When you factor in the return of the first film’s stars, combined with heavy-hitters that include Jeff Bridges and Channing Tatum, you’re well on your way to smashing it out of the park with round two.
With all this in mind, the hype train for The Golden Circle is very real. However, some new details have been getting people more excited than ever.
Empire Online debuted two new photos from the film this morning (which you can find in the gallery), along with the very first details regarding the new characters. These new details offer the first description of the American version of the Kingsmenย – the Statesmen – as well as the new additions played by Tatum, Bridges, and others….

Taron Egerton Compares Kingsman To The Avengers
If you thought the first Kingsmanย film was an awesome adventure, you better strap in for the sequel. According to its star, The Golden Circle – hitting theaters later this year – feels a lot like Marvel’sย Avengers.
During an interview with EW, Taronย Egertonย was asked about the upcoming film. In order to put his excitement into perspective, he compared the two Kingsmanย films to some other movies everyone knows and loves.
“If the first Kingsman was Captain America,” Egerton said, “then this is very much The Avengersย now.”
Egertonย elaborated on the claim, explaining that the movie transforms from a simple origin story, into a much greater ensemble piece.
“For theย first one, I felt like if I wasn’t really good then it wouldn’t work.ย This time, the story still unfolds through my eyes but this is still a true ensemble piece. And also, I’ve had a bit more experience. I’m not asking the crewย what every piece of camera equipment does.”
That makes a ton of sense, seeing as how the movie adds a ton of new characters. Stars like Jeff Bridges, Channingย Tatum, Julianne Moore, Halleย Berry, and Elton John have come on to play some of the new roles…

Movie news is rolling fast out of CinemaCon, and Kingsman: The Golden Circle is finally getting its turn. The highly-anticipated sequel to Matthew Vaughn’s 2015 hit is getting a ton of buzz ahead of its fall release – and now it’s been given a brand new poster.
