This new concept poster brings together the supernatural team that we’ve been waiting to see in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for several years now. Until very recently, the MCU had been experiencing a drought of superhero teams. While the New Avengers, Sam Wilson’s Avengers, and the Fantastic Four have recently solved this issue, there are more teams we’re still waiting to see in live-action. Several possible members of one of these teams have already been introduced to the MCU, so Marvel Studios could easily bring them together.

Six of these possible team members come together as the MCU’s Midnight Sons in a new concept poster shared by Lyle Cruse on Instagram. The fiery poster brings together pre-established MCU characters Doctor Strange, Werewolf by Night, and Elsa Bloodstone, along with Blade, who is yet to make his first on-screen appearance, Morbius, who debuted in Sony’s reviled self-titled 2022 movie, and Ghost Rider, who has been heavily rumored to be debuting in the MCU soon. This would make for a strong Midnight Sons line-up, but there are even more potential members who aren’t seen in this poster.
Who Could Be Included in the MCU’s Midnight Sons Team?

Ghost Rider, Blade, and Morbius are the most frequent members of the Midnight Sons teams in Marvel Comics, so it would make sense for Marvel Studios to introduce or reinvent them ahead of the MCU debut of the team. Since his debut in 2016’s Doctor Strange, Benedict Cumberbatch’s Master of the Mystic Arts has been perfectly priming himself to be the Midnight Sons’ leader, however. This would be a fantastic storyline for Doctor Strange to explore after battling incursions and Doctor Doom in the MCU’s Phase 6, possibly even in the as-yet-unconfirmed Doctor Strange 3.
Jack Russell (Gael Garcรญa Bernal) and Elsa Bloodstone (Laura Donnelly) both debuted in 2022’s Werewolf by Night Special Presentation, and it would be fantastic to see them return as members of the Midnight Sons. They could be joined by many more team members from Marvel Comics who have already been seen in the MCU. This includes the likes of Parker Robbins’ Hood from Ironheart, Danny Rand’s Iron Fist from the Defenders Saga, Jennifer Kale from Agatha All Along, Marc Spector from Moon Knight, Man-Thing from Werewolf by Night, and even the Scarlet Witch and Wong.
Recent speculation has suggested that Marvel Studios may be gearing up to debut Ghost Rider as the leader of the Midnight Sons. Sacha Baron Cohen’s appearance as Mephisto in Ironheart could have set this up perfectly, so both Ghost Rider’s introduction and the formation of the Midnight Sons might be right round the corner. This means it might not be long before something similar to this explosive concept poster comes to life in the MCU, which is very exciting.
