Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Producers Confirm Skye Is Daisy Johnson

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. executive producers Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen have confirmed to ComicBook.com that Skye is the Marvel Comics character Daisy Johnson, a.k.a. Quake.

"Yes, we can confirm is indeed…," Tancharoen began. She and Whedon finished, in unison, "Daisy Johnson!"

ComicBook.com, and other sites, picked up on a clue to Skye's identity in last week's episode, "…Ye Who Enter Here." The lullaby playing during Skye's dream sequence was the song "Daisy Bell," which seemed like it had to more than a coincidence.

"Playing that lullaby was definitely deliberate," Tancharoen says. "It's very cool to see a few people have keyed into that."

So now that we know Skye is actually Daisy Johnson, should we expect to see Chloe Bennett putting on Quake's signature gauntlets? Whedon says "You never know!"

"Maybe…," Tancharoen adds, "…maybe, maybe, maybe."
