With just weeks to go before shooting is reported to begin on The CW's The Flash pilot, production has apparently already set up shop in Vancouver, just down the way from Arrow. "There seems to be a new show infringing on our crew park," Arrow star Stephen Amell jokingly posted to Facebook, along with the image above. "HOW DARE THEY!!!" With Vancouver standing in for both Central City and Starling City on The Flash and Arrow, respectively, it should be interesting to see how they differentiate the two in what is reported to be a very different look and feel for The Flash. Obviously on the one hand, part of Vancouver's appeal to filmmakers is its diversity of locations--on the other hand, Warner Bros. Television has a history of using the same locations over again (think of the ones that recur just between Smallville and Arrow) and since Barry Allen has already been to Starling, coincidences like that could be somewhat jarring. The Flash is expected to film in March for a debut in the fall on The CW. The pilot is already widely expected to be taken to series on the strength of Arrow's performance, and the exceptional ratings Barry Allen's appearance on that show raked in for The CW.
